Ash was used by ancient Egyptions as a key component
of Glass. The Original Mount St. Helens Volcanic Ash
Glassworks had been making glass art from ash since
1980. They lost their lease awhile back and closed their
studio. However, the gift shop at The Forest Learning
Center purchased the last of their collectible art and
feature it at the Forest Learning Center as long as it
lasts. Please stop in and see the last of this collectible
art. Also Featuring Glass Volcano Paperweights and
other Celestial series glass art, eggs, ornaments, vases
and figurines made by Seattle Glassblowers using Ash
from Mount St. Helens.
