I-5 Exit 49 at Castle Rock. Head east on Hwy 504, 27 miles to well marked
Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center ( milepost 27). This is a very nice scenic highway
and you can travel at 55 mph all the way here. We are 1 1/2 hours north of
Portland and 2 1/2 hours south of Seattle. Coming from Seattle you can save a
little time by taking highway 505 cutoff at Toledo.
We are located just 16 air miles from the Crater. We are at milepost 27 on the
highway and Coldwater Visitor is 16 miles further past us and Johnston Ridge is
25 miles further past us.
Hours: Open Year-round, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years.
Summer: (Jun-August) 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Spring & Fall: ( April-May, Sep-Oct) 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Winter: (Nov-Mar) 10:30 am to 4:30 pm five days a week - please call
